The long awaited Bonnaroo 2012 lineup was officially announced today, and as rumored Phish will return to the festival and make their second trip to the farm. Other big acts topping the bill include Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beach Boys, Skrillex, The Roots, The Word, The Avett Brothers, and many many more! Smaller jamband and electronica acts include Umphrey’s McGee, Big Gigantic, Mimosa, Trampled By Turtles, and SOJA. This year’s lineup looks well balanced, tasteful and notably lacks big hip-hop or hard rock headliners so far. Here’s the full announced lineup:

For Phish phans, this brings great excitement as we finally have a confirmed show on the calendar to look forward to. The big question remains when will Phish grace us with the rest of the summer tour dates? My guess would be that we are still a few weeks out and that dates will likely drop in early March.
